I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 41. A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. It's normal to feel shock, anger, sadness and fear.

You are not alone.

However, you have to keep your thoughts positive. During treatment, I had to remember that cancer cells were the victim here, not me!

I had a wonderful support system and though my young daughters didn’t realize it, just by needing me, they made me strong. Now I want to encourage other women to reach out and talk to their loved ones and other survivors because you are truly not alone!
