Gwendolyn Diarra, Kids’ Club Manager, and Cheryl Osburn, Floral Manager, both work in an Atlanta-area Kroger store and leaned on each other while they each battled breast cancer. Cheryl advocates that women can survive breast cancer and Gwendolyn echoes this sentiment when she tells women to not be quiet about breast cancer but rather tell the world! These two extraordinary women share a special, lifelong bond and work extensively to promote breast cancer awareness, both through their day-to-day activities as well as participation in breast cancer awareness-related activities.
